My first deviation of 2012 is a gift, apparently. Well, this one has a long story: my friend graduated when I was in England writing my dissertation. I did my best to support her despite our distance, however I deeply regret I couldn't be there on graduation day. The story may end here, however when I organised the little art giveaway for Christmas, she entered too and, unbelievably, SHE WAS THE LUCKY ONE WHO WON IT! :XD: So, in the end, she asked for this drawing: me and her on her graduation day, like in a photo that we never had but now we kinda have! :XD: Hence, the giveaway turned into a belated graduation gift for my friend! :XD:

I also decided to stick some rhinestones (I LOVE RHINESTONES AND MY FRIEND DOES TOO! *_*) to make the print more...precious! I liked how it turned up and I think I'll use them in other drawings too. :) As far as the translation is concerned: "laurea" is "graduation" and then there is the date "15 July 2011". :)
